Get Involved

Every person can play a meaningful role in supporting children in foster care.

Geary Foster Foundations is powered by individuals, families, and community partners who choose to make a difference. Whether you give your time, your skills, your financial resources, or your prayers, your involvement directly impacts the lives of children who deserve safety, stability, and hope.

Below are the many ways you can join our mission.

Volunteer

Volunteers bring energy, encouragement, and consistency into the lives of children and foster parents within our community. Whether you’re helping with events, tutoring, gardening, mentoring, or providing practical help around the community, your time makes a real, lasting difference.

Volunteering is flexible. We will work with your schedule and find opportunities that match your gifts and abilities.

Respite Care

Respite caregivers are a lifeline for foster parents. Sometimes families need short-term help: a weekend break, assistance during emergencies, support during scheduling conflicts, or simply the space to rest and recharge.

Respite providers receive basic training and are approved through a child placement agency. Individuals, couples, grandparents, and close friends can all serve in this role. Becoming a respite caregiver is one of the most impactful ways to support the foster families at GFF.

Become a Caregiver

Become a Foster Parent

Foster parenting at Geary Foster Foundations is a unique and deeply meaningful calling. Families who foster in our community live in independent homes on our 12-acre property, surrounded by neighbors who understand the journey and are ready to support one another.

Foster parents receive a rent-free home and access to shared resources, but the heart of this calling is far greater than the benefits. Foster parenting requires time, energy, emotional resilience, and a desire to care for children as if they were your own.

GFF partners with a child placement agency that licenses and supports each foster family. If you feel drawn to make a life-changing impact on a child, or a sibling group, we would love to visit with you.
